Location
This village is a continuation of the old Cappadocian Karvali and there is a long history behind it. The refugees brought the relics of Agios Grigorios o Theologos (St Gregory the Theologian) with them and built the church of the same name.
The plethora of aspects of the cultural heritage, such as in the traditional village of Akontisma, the Folklore Museum, the church of Agios Grigorios o Theologos, as well as the kourabie manufacturers preserve the customs and traditions of the place.
